For this design, I want to emphasize the Chinese culture and the objects that my mom loves. I picked two colors that she likes and by mixing the colors, I picked 6 final colors to do swatches. Since the scarf is a gift for her, I placed her Chinese name on the left down corner to indicate its uniqueness and exclusive quality. I picked patterns that express my family's culture most strongly and the arrangement of my illustration focuses on the elegance of my mom.
