Museum Art Kit: Guggenheim X Joan Miro, 2021
Procreate, AI, PS
About
This project is to design an art kit—a box of 6 crayons, a notebook, a book of 25 stickers, a pencil pouch, a tote
bag—of an art museum, which I picked the Guggenheim Museum. The Museum of Nonobjective Painting, Guggenheim, features works by such artists as Constantin Brancusi, Marc Chagall, Vasily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, Joan Miró, and Piet Mondrian. This inaugural selection illustrates many of the radical approaches to art-making that developed across Europe and Russia in the second decade of the 20th century. These new approaches would also come to shape the ethos of Solomon R. Guggenheim's collection. I picked Joan Miro as the collaborative artist with the museum for the art kit design.

Alphabets

The 26 Miro alphabets are influenced by the master pieces of Joan Miro. I used elements and symbols that
constantly and repetitively show up in his work to morph these alphabets into illustrative designs that represent the artist himself. Below is the name of the museum in my designed alphabets and this stylized name will show throughout different applications of the art kit to strengthen the collaboration between the artist and museum.
