Imperfection is Perfection, 2021

Nowadays, people often seek perfection in life and are afraid to face their flaws. Weakness is regarded as a flaw, but it can also be a characteristic.

For this project, I want to express the idea of accepting ourselves, our imperfections, and letting ourselves be free from our fixed boundaries. The boundaries are illustrated as the black liquid that suffocates us from time to time, haunting the inner parts of our soul and mind. To break free from our constraints, we have to disregard those limitations and be our true selves. For many people, childhood often affects them the most to adulthood. As a kid, my experience of childhood affected me dramatically. The ballon in the animation alludes to my childhood and is something that I love to play with when I was a kid. Il's also because of the things that I encountered and experienced in childhood that led to my desire for perfection in everything, which is tiring and impossible.
